Where are we?
Le Logis du Pressoir is situated in the heart of the Loire Valley, in central France and within the Loire-Anjou-Touraine National Park (UNESCO World Heritage Site).
We are close to main motorway, airport and TGV rail (high speed train) links and therefore, conveniently based for both short breaks and longer holidays.
With access to the A85 motorway within a few minutes’ drive, we are also perfectly situated for stopovers on route to the South of France and back to the Channel ports.

France has an excellent network of fast motorways to the Loire Valley, whilst the Nationals (A road) routes afford plenty of opportunity for a leisurely drive through the beautiful French countryside.

Motorway / Autoroute: A85, Exit 1, Beaufort en Vallée.
Flights from the UK: We are lucky enough to be close to several airports as well as benefitting from low cost airlines which fly from various UK destinations to our closest airports:
Tours Val de Loire (1h), Nantes (1h30), Rennes (2h), Paris (3h30).
International flights: Paris is the main arrival airport for many international cities. From Paris, you can either hire a car or catch a high speed train (TGV) to Angers or Tours.
Eurostar operates an efficient service from London St. Pancras to Paris linking to the French high speed (TGV) network to our closest main stations: Angers or Tours.

Local Transport
Our local train and bus networks serve Angers, Saumur and Tours.
Whilst a car is not absolutely necessary, if you wish to make the most of sightseeing in the Loire region, we highly recommend having a car.
